The importance of regional private radio stations today and in the near future

This rigorosum thesis is concerned about the importance of private regional radio stations, recently as well as in the near future. For this purpose, there had been conducted a quantitative research, which was realized on a representative sample of respondents, relevant to the audience of private radio stations. The secondary objective of the research was to find out how the audience consumes private regional radio stations' broadcasting. The methodology used to conduct the research was CATI. The theoretical part of this thesis describes the history and development of the regional radio market in the Czech Republic after the year 1989 in 5 years cycles up to the year 2015. The practical part of this thesis includes defined hypothesis and is concerned about the research itself, its methodology, definition of the respondents' sample, its results and their analysis. In the conclusion of this thesis, its key findings are confronted with its original objectives and the defined hypothesis are either confirmed or disproved. Comparison of marketing communications of radio stations Radio Wave and Evropa 2

The bachelor's thesis "Comparison of marketing communication of Radio Wave and Europe 2" describes, analyzes and compares the marketing tools and activities of Radio Wave and Evropa 2. The work uses three research methods, namely primary descriptive analysis and subsequent comparative analysis supplemented by a method of questioning. Descriptive analysis and comparative analysis deals with the communication mix of stations. The qualitative questionnaire deals with the listeners' awareness of the marketing communication of individual stations. The aim of the thesis is to find out, how the marketing communication of radio stations differs, both of which are intended for young listeners, but have a diametrically different character.

Analysis of competitive local radio station "Rádio Dobrý den"

Work is dealing with market of radio stations in Liberec with focus on analysis of the competition in this region. Theoretic base include structural analysis of branches, BCG matric and Porter's five forces model. Practical part is dealing with analysis of local radio station "Dobrý den" and suggests strategy and goals for years to come. One of the partial part is marketer research, whose point is to ascertain the most objective measure of quantity of radio listeners in Liberec. This indicator does not exist in official form, but this indicator is essential for local radio station on small market. Diploma work confront official measure of quantity of radio listeners measured in whole Ústecký and Liberecký region and measure of quantity of radio listeners measured in Liberec done by marketer research.
